Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us..."

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” — 1 Cor. 1:18 (KJV) As the Lord Jesus hung upon the cross — wounded, bleeding, despised, and dying — heaven and earth stood still to hear His final words. Each saying is like a precious jewel, revealing His divine character and eternal purpose. Seven times He spoke — not for Himself, but for us. 1. "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." (Luke 23:34). 2. "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." (Luke 23:43). 3. "Woman, behold your son!" / "Behold your mother!" (John 19:26-27). 4. "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46; Mark 15:34). 5. "I thirst." (John 19:28). 6. "It is finished!" (John 19:30). 7. "Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit!" (Luke 23:46).
