A Church That Reaches With Love

Our History

In 2009, two individuals prophesied to Pastor Obie that he was destined to become a pastor after witnessing his ability to share the Word of God with others. The following year, in 2010, Pastor Obie attended a seminar class on Saturdays, responding to his divine calling. God subsequently placed other believers in Pastor Obie's path, prompting him to seek divine guidance regarding the needs of local churches, as he was determined not to conform to the status quo. Through revelation, God conveyed to Obie that the churches required an infusion of love and the Holy Spirit.

On January 7, 2010, Great Life Ministries was established at the Winterville Train Depot. Six months later, the church experienced rapid growth, necessitating a relocation due to space constraints. On July 8, 2010, Great Life Ministries found its new home in a former post office in Bogart, GA. What was once a building dedicated to delivering mail has now been transformed into a vibrant church that disseminates the Word of God.

The transformation of the former post office into a place of worship represents the renewal and hope that Great Life Ministries offers to the community. Under Pastor Obie's leadership, the church has evolved into not only a spiritual sanctuary but also a hub for community outreach, providing support and compassion to those in need. As the congregation continues to expand, so does their mission to spread love and the teachings of God, ensuring that all who enter feel welcomed and inspired.
